Wednesday, March 10, 1954

Cooked, did regular work. Nice day but cold. Bill, Betty and I went to the movies. It was Ma and Pa Kettle, very good.

Thursday, March 11, 1954

Nice day, cold wind. I went over to Aunt Linnie’s in p.m. Called to see Raymond’s shop and see his cows. Nice looking cattle. Billie helped Dennis haul wood and bolts.

Friday, March 12, 1954

Nice day. Did the regular work. Billie helped Dennis haul wood.

Saturday, March 13, 1954

Cloudy all day. Billie helped Dennis haul wood. Bill and I went to town in p.m. Fern and Lloyd up in evening. Snowed in p.m.

Sunday, March 14, 1954

Snowed all day, got about 4 inches here. Didn’t do much except regular work. Kennie and Dot called in p.m. Raymond over in a.m.

Monday, March 15, 1954

Washed today, kind of cloudy. Sent Betty’s seed money. Lilly had a nice heifer calf and it was a BLACK one. Billie and Raymond hauled dressing for Raymond today. Betty and I got the clothes in. Billie gone to the lodge tonight.
