Churned. Cloudy.
Friday, April 2, 1954
Quite cold and windy. I cooked, was alone most all day. Bill
and Billie went to Portland. Billie went to see about G.I. loan. Nothing doing.
They bought a Silvertone TV at Sears Roebuck (ordered it).
Saturday, April 3, 1954
Bill and Billie and I went to town. Very cold and
windy. Betty’s records came today. In p.m. we went over to Lyda Randall’s
with Donnie. She gave me $10.
Sunday, April 4, 1954
Still very cold, 10 above this morning. Ilan came
down and cut or sawed down the apple trees. Bill and Billie cleaned up the
brush and burned it. Nice sunny day.
Monday, April 5, 1954
I washed. Cleaned up the house, washed sitting room floor.
Billie and Dennis hauled wood. Aunt Ava came over and brought over some things
and put into deep freeze. I ironed in eve. Billie went to lodge.
Tuesday, April 6, 1954
Did a little cooking, washed dining room and kitchen floors.
Kimbo sick. Had a premature, kitten she died today. Billie and Dennis hauled
some sawdust. Began to rain late this p.m.
Wednesday, April 7, 1954
Very nice warm day. I cleaned up the house, did some
cooking. Billie helped Dennis in the p.m. About three our TV set came from
Sears. Fern, Lloyd, Uncle Os, came up in evening, also Kennard. Mama came home
from Ferns.
