Nice clear day. Bill’s mom and dad here for dinner. Picked half bushel peas.

Monday, July 26, 1948

Washed. Cloudy. Picked bushel peas. Milan and Betty called in eve.

Tuesday, July 27, 1948

Phil mowed. Canned 4 pints of peas. Ironed. Hot today. HODSON

Bill home, we hayed. Roger Crook came today from Canada. They called on us in eve.

Bill worked today. Nice day. He and I went down to Jean’s in eve to see Roger Crook.

Nice day. We canned 7 quarts string beans.
