Cold. We went to town in eve.

We didn’t do much. I cooked. Didn’t go anywhere.

Monday, March 15, 1948

Washed. Cloudy and cold. Bill and I went over to Denmark.

Tuesday, March 16, 1948

I ironed. Nice day, a little warmer. Billie’s big cow went. He sold it to Mr. Hall of Denmark. Will Vance died.

Wednesday, March 17, 1948

Very nice warm day. Bill over to Bob’s. Mama sick this morning. Bill began to get lame again.

Thursday, March 18, 1948

Bill awful lame. Kennard up here to help Bill but didn’t do much. Bill’s folks up in p.m. and Delores.

Friday, March 19, 1948

Cloudy and cold. Gordon and Bill’s father came up to help put mud guard on. But had to take it down to get it straightened. Snowed and rained. Bill awful lame.
