Not quite so cold. We washed. Ruby Hill up here for weekend. Bill and I down to Jean’s in eve. I got new oil cloth for shelves.

Bill’s father and mother here for the day. We enjoyed them very much. Nice day.

Very cold. We washed.

Awful cold, 25 below. Bill and Hayd didn’t work. Pipes froze up. Bill and I went to town. We got some coal today.

Wednesday, February 11, 1948

Cold today, awful cold. Kennard and Delores and Fern and Lloyd called in eve. House was very hot today.

Thursday, February 12, 1948

Nice warm day. Clothes dried very good. Mama down to Dot and Forrests.

Friday, February 13, 1948

Cloudy but it began to snow tonight. Warmed up a lot.
