Finished picking strawberries. Canned some and made some jam. Very hot.

Nice day. Goden up here and mowed all day. Bill and Evelyn Ridlon called and wanted us to go to movies.

Monday, July 21, 1947

Washed and ironed. Billie didn’t work. Rayburn here all day. Grover finished hauling slabs.

Tuesday, July 22, 1947

Rained. Bill home and worked on tractor. Rayburn here all day. Blanche and Joy here in a.m. Dorothea over there in PM.

Billie took cow up to Chet’s. His big one.

Betty got her hair cut at Joan’s. Looks good. Blanche took us down.

Goden here all day. They got the tractor going. I went blueberrying.
