December 6 - 12, 1947



Saturday, December 6, 1947

Cold and windy. Blynn and wife called and got Ed’s things and paid me. Ruby Hill here this weekend.



Sunday, December 7, 1947

Billie downtown. Bill cut up a little wood. Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis came. Fern and Lloyd up in eve.



Monday, December 8, 1947

Rainy, not too cold. Ed’s funeral today. Bill, Phil Hodges, Lyman (?) Otis and Jim F. bearers. Bill and I downtown and up to Phils in a.m. Called on Jean today and saw Goden’s house.



Tuesday, December 9, 1947

Cleaned up the house. Winnerd a few beans. Sent a Sears and Ward order today. Wind blowed hard.



Wednesday, December 10, 1947

Nice day. We washed. Billie worked over to Raymonds. Cleaned up the house. Ironed in eve. Got hen grain today.



Thursday, December 11, 1947

Our yellow cat sick and went off. I finished getting the house into order. Ironed.



Friday, December 12, 1947

Did regular work. Warmer. Our yellow cat came back, he is awful sick. Ed been gone one week.
