We washed. Dr. Mabry came to see Ed.

I went up to Evelyn Ridlon’s blueberrying. Got about 10 quarts. Hot.

Wednesday, August 6, 1947

We canned 6 quarts blueberries. Hayed at Lloyd’s tonight.

Thursday, August 7, 1947

We canned string beans. Dr. Mabry called. Lloyd finished haying.

Friday, August 8, 1947

Fern and Lloyd up and brought up a box of chocolates for birthday.
