 Saturday, March 11, 1944

Cold in A.M. Warmed up in P.M. did regular work. Bill and I went to town. Ilan moved his house down today. Bought Winona's house.


Sunday, March 12, 1944

Bill home. He and Billie cut a few sticks of wood. Tore petition out of tie up. Bill, Billie, Betty and I went up to see Ilan's house. Helen and Hayd were up there. Hayd helping Ilan. Dorothea was up there playing with their children.


Monday, March 13, 1944

Rained. Cleared off tonite. Jimmy Reynolds funeral today. We washed. Papa made out order for his seed. Baby has got cold.


Tuesday, March 14, 1944

Mama went down to Ferns. I ironed, nice day. A load of shavings came from Jim's. Billie up to H. Smart's in evening.


Wednesday, March 15, 1944

Dorothea home from school with a cold. Cold today. Begun on puzzle. Billie got up to Helen's.


Thursday, March 16, 1944

Dorothea back to school. Warm today but raining. Finished another puzzle tonite.


Friday, March 17, 1944

No school. Teachers meeting at So. Paris. Rain. Dorothea and Bill went to town. Cleaned up the house. Brud was up.
